Like
the sound recorded under Lake Sound One, this was recorded on
my digital camera from our deck that is several
feet back and above the lake. Unlike the other, this was recorded
at night and this is what our lake sounds like all
night long when it's first freezing up in early winter and before
an insulating snow layer muffles the sound of the ice growing.
Do you see now why it's so difficult to describe the sound?
